These songs will cost you £5, with every penny going straight into the fundraising pot for Alma Primary School in Whetstone, North London.

Alongside its commitment to meaningful learning and excellence, the school's vision is that its students work for 'a world built on kindness'.

Most schools need more money. Often the cash isn't for anything grand - some new playground equipment or a school bus - but simply to pay the costs of teachers, support staff and learning materials.

Alma Primary is no different. The staff team works flat out to prepare its students (including my children Solomon and Matilda) for a future we're unlikely to recognise. It's a big job; made harder if you're struggling with a deficit.

I always planned to record some of my songs this year and it's been fun. I plan to do more. That'll just be me indulging myself. But with any money made by this first 'release' benefiting 200 very special kids at a great school, I hope you'll consider buying this one.
